Hiring a local drywall contractor for installation and finish in Maine in 2025 will cost from $1,50 to $5,17 per square foot.
We are often asked to give a project price over the phone based on information the customer gives us. While we understand the convenience this would provide, it is extremely difficult if not impossible to do so. There are many variables that affect the overall cost. Starting with materials: fire rated and mold resistant sheetrock cost, cost of the various sizes of sheetrock like 1/2" vs 5/8" sheetrock. And 54" wide sheetrock (which you cannot find at Home Depot or Lowes). The overall amount of materials based on the details of the build (NoCoat product, for 45-degree angles, Trim Tex products for various things like expansion joints and finishing up to brick or beams for example). The level of drywall finish (from fire taping to Level 5 skimming). Cost of sheetrock installation or drywall repair price is impacted by ceiling heights and sheer number of details (small closets, odd corners, difficult places to reach, old and crooked framing... for example). And drywall ceiling repair cost is different every time depending on the level of damage being repaired.
With that being said, we are happy to give you a free estimate based on a detailed print or preferably onsite when the project is framed up.
Don't hesitate to call us. In most cases we are able to provide a quote the same day we see your project.
